Getting Started

FurneDesigns lets you deploy an AI-powered chatbot on any website in three simple steps. No advanced technical skills required — most clients are live in under 15 minutes.

Create a Project

A project represents one website or brand. Give it a name, URL, color, and icon so you can identify it at a glance.

Configure your AI Assistant

Set the assistant's name, personality, and role instructions. The knowledge base is built automatically from the URL you provided when creating the project.

Add the Script to your Website

Copy the one-line script tag from your project's Integration tab and paste it before </body> on your site. The chatbot appears immediately.

Most clients are live in under 15 minutes. You can always come back to refine the knowledge base and instructions later.

Projects

A Project is the container for one website or brand. Each project gets its own AI Assistant, script tag, leads inbox, and analytics — completely isolated from your other projects.

Creating a Project

From the dashboard, click New Project and fill in the basic details:

Name

The internal name for this project (e.g. "Moda Luna")

Website URL

The main URL of the site — used as the starting point for the crawl

Color

A brand color used to identify the project in your dashboard

Icon

A small emoji or icon for quick visual reference

Website Crawl

Once you save the project, FurneDesigns automatically crawls your website. It reads every accessible page and the AI selects the most relevant ones to build the knowledge base. You can review and adjust which pages are used — up to 20 URLs — before confirming the crawl.

The crawler visits your full site, then the AI ranks pages by relevance — services, pricing, FAQs, contact info — and pre-selects the best ones for your knowledge base.

You can include or exclude any page from the selection. The final crawl uses exactly the URLs you approve. If you add new pages to your site later, update the URL list from Project Settings → URLs. To keep the knowledge base current automatically, enable the Daily Crawl toggle in Project Settings. You can also enable Auto-apply changes to have updates applied without manual review — or open a support ticket if you need an immediate update.

Real-world example

If you run 3 e-commerce stores, create 3 separate projects — one for each store. Each project gets its own assistant, lead inbox, and analytics. You'll never mix up conversations or data from different brands.

AI Assistants

The AI Assistant is the chatbot your visitors interact with. You configure its identity once — name, look, and instructions. Its knowledge and personality are powered automatically by the Knowledge Base, built from your website.

Identity

Define how your assistant looks and behaves. These settings directly affect the first impression visitors have.

Name

The assistant's display name (e.g. "Sofia", "Max", "Aria")

A system prompt defining personality, goals, and constraints

Example role instructions:

You are Sofia, a friendly sales assistant for Moda Luna, a women's fashion boutique.
Help visitors find the right size, answer questions about returns, and guide them
toward booking a styling appointment. Be warm, concise, and elegant in your tone.

The more specific your role instructions, the better your assistant performs. Include tone, topics to avoid, and a clear goal (e.g. "book a call" or "capture email").

The Knowledge Base is the brain of your assistant

Everything your assistant knows — your products, services, FAQs, tone of voice, and how it handles leads — comes from the Knowledge Base. It is generated automatically from your website when you create the project, and kept up to date as you accept recommendations from Quality Reports.

The richer your website content, the smarter your assistant. Make sure your site has clear service descriptions, pricing, FAQs, and contact information — the AI reads all of it.

Knowledge Base

The knowledge base is the foundation of accurate AI responses. It is built automatically from your website crawl — no manual uploads required. The AI analyzes your site content and generates a set of structured documents organized by topic.

After crawling your website, FurneDesigns produces 5 structured documents. Each one covers a specific aspect of your business so the assistant always has the right context at hand.

Identity & Voice

Your brand tone, personality, and communication guidelines — ensures the assistant always sounds like you.

Products & Services

Your offering: what you sell, service descriptions, pricing, and key differentiators.

FAQ & Quick Answers

Common questions with ready-to-deliver answers. Reduces hallucinations on high-frequency topics.

Lead Capture & Conversion

Conversation flows and scripts designed to move visitors toward booking, signing up, or leaving contact info.

Support & Logistics

Shipping, returns, contact details, opening hours, and operational policies.

6th Document — Recommendations & Optimization

A 6th document is created automatically when you accept Quality Report recommendations or run Auto-optimize. It captures all approved improvements so the assistant continuously gets more accurate over time — without touching the core 5 documents.

Daily Crawl

Enable this toggle in Project Settings to have FurneDesigns automatically re-crawl your site every day. Ideal if your content changes regularly. Need an immediate update? Open a support ticket and our team will handle it.

Auto-apply changesExperimental

When enabled alongside Daily Crawl, detected updates are applied to the knowledge base automatically — no manual review needed. Disable it if you prefer to review and approve each change before it goes live.

Script Integration

The FurneDesigns widget is loaded via a single <script> tag. The data-key attribute is your unique Project ID — it tells the platform which assistant and knowledge base to load.

Paste this tag just before the closing </body> tag in your HTML. The script is lightweight, loads asynchronously, and has zero impact on page speed scores.

CMS-Specific Instructions

WordPress

  1. 1.Go to Appearance → Theme Editor
  2. 2.Select footer.php from the file list
  3. 3.Paste the script before </body>
  4. 4.Alternatively, use the "Insert Headers and Footers" plugin (no code editing required)

Shopify

  1. 1.Go to Online Store → Themes
  2. 2.Click Edit code on your active theme
  3. 3.Open theme.liquid
  4. 4.Paste the script before </body> and save

Webflow

  1. 1.Open Project Settings
  2. 2.Go to the Custom Code tab
  3. 3.Paste the script in the Footer Code area
  4. 4.Publish your site to apply

Wix

  1. 1.Go to Settings → Custom Code
  2. 2.Click + Add Custom Code
  3. 3.Paste the script and set placement to Body (end)
  4. 4.Apply to all pages and save

Custom HTML

  1. 1.Open your main HTML template file
  2. 2.Locate the closing </body> tag
  3. 3.Paste the script immediately before it
  4. 4.Deploy or save your changes

Lead Capture

The AI Assistant captures leads naturally during conversation — no forms, no popups, no friction. When a visitor shows interest, the assistant gently collects their contact details as part of the flow.

Where to find your leads

Go to Analytics in the sidebar, then click on any project card to open its dedicated leads view. Each lead shows full contact details plus the AI-generated conversation summary.

Quality Reports

Quality Reports give you visibility into how well your assistant is performing. The platform monitors every conversation for hallucinations — responses that aren't grounded in your knowledge base — and generates actionable recommendations.

Acting on Recommendations

Each quality report includes specific recommendations for improving your knowledge base or role instructions. For each recommendation you can:

Accept

Apply the recommendation immediately to your knowledge base.

Edit

Refine the suggestion before applying it — modify the wording to fit your brand voice.

Reject

Dismiss the recommendation if it doesn't apply to your use case.

Auto-optimizeExperimental

Runs daily at 3 AM UTC and applies matching recommendations automatically. Enable it in your project settings — use at your own discretion. You choose which severity level gets auto-applied:

Critical only

Fixes the most severe hallucinations

Warning only

Addresses moderate gaps

Warning + Critical

Applies all recommendations

Impact on the Knowledge Base

Every accepted recommendation — whether applied manually or via Auto-optimize — is written into the Recommendations & Optimization document in your Knowledge Base. This dedicated document accumulates all improvements over time, so you always have a clear record of what the AI has learned.

Analytics

The Analytics section gives you a high-level view of lead generation performance across all your projects, with month-over-month comparison and growth tracking.

Support

Need help? You can open a support ticket directly from the Support tab in the sidebar. Our AI assistant handles most tickets instantly — and escalates to a human agent when you need one.

How to Create a Ticket

Go to Support in the sidebar

Navigate to the Support tab from the left sidebar. You'll see your existing tickets and a button to open a new one.

Describe your issue

Write a clear description of what you need help with. Include any relevant project name, error messages, or steps to reproduce the problem.

Submit and wait for a reply

Once submitted, our AI reads your ticket and responds immediately. If the issue requires human intervention, the ticket is escalated to our team.

AI-Powered First Response

Our support AI reads your ticket and responds right away — no waiting. It resolves the majority of questions about configuration, billing, and integrations on the spot.

Human Escalation

If the AI can't resolve your issue, or if you explicitly ask to speak with a person, the ticket is handed off to a human agent from our team.

For faster resolution, mention the project name and what you were trying to do when the issue occurred. The more context you provide, the quicker we can help.
